Prof. Mohammad Abu Zahra joined the Global CCS Institute in January 2022 as Head of Middle East North Africa (MENA) region, bringing 18 years of deep experience and international expertise in the Carbon Capture field. Prof. Abu Zahra is also an experienced university professor and an associate editor for the International Journal of Greenhouse Gas Control. Previous responsibilities included the management of projects in carbon dioxide capture and CCS integrated systems, consultancy, chemical engineering, and process design. Prior to joining the Institute, Prof. Abu Zahra worked as a professor and CO2 capture research leader at Masdar Institute and Khalifa University (2011-2022). He worked at the International Energy Agency Greenhouse Gas R&D Programme (IEAGHG) as a project manager for the carbon capture and integrated energy systems team.

Giora is the CEO of OPC Energy, an energy company incorporated in 2010 and traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE:OPCE). OPC operates in Israel and in the United States, generating power with maximum energy efficiency and state-of-the-art technologies. In Israel, OPC is the first private electricity company, currently operating approximately 600MW of natural gas-fired power plants, with additional 600MW under construction. In the United States, OPC operates through CPV Group, that was purchased in the beginning of 2021. CPV Group was incorporated in 1999 and since its inception has initiated and constructed power plants with a total capacity of approximately 15GW, of which approximately 5GW wind energy. Giora holds a BA in economics from The Tel Aviv University, enjoys running, snowboarding and trekking. Giora is married with three girls and lives in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Zviya Baron is a seasoned energy innovation professional with 25 years of hands-on technology innovation experience and eco-system building. For the past 20 years, she has been combining her passion to innovation and energy-tech; and she is considered one of the founding “mothers” of this industry in Israel. For the past six years, she has formed two innovation divisions from scratch and managed them; The Israeli Aerospace Industries and the Israeli Electric Company, two of the largest companies in Israel. For ten years, she acted as Director of Innovation at Petroquantum B.V, a Dutch based energy-consulting firm, where she incepted the innovation practice. She formed innovation strategies and designed innovation policies and tools for academia, government agencies and the industry alike. She also served as the "in-house" advisor of the Israeli National Innovation Energy committee at the Israeli National R&D Council which was aimed at building and expanding the energy eco-system in Israel. She has started her energy-tech career as CEO of an energy start-up company. Ms. Baron is a key-note speaker in many conferences and think tanks on innovation and energy. She earned her BA at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and her MBA at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in the Netherlands.

Guil has served as Principal Analyst and Director of Investor Relations at NewMed Energy since June 2016, following his term as Principal Analyst of the Delek Group. Guil has extensive experience in financial markets, market analysis, valuation of companies, business analysis, and more. He has previously served as a senior analyst in the capital market. He holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration, and an MA in Philosophy from Tel Aviv University. He is also certified by the Israel Securities Authority as an investment advisor and portfolio manager

Master's in Finance (ESPC Europe), +16 years' experience in managing large working teams and initiating new yielding business opportunities; I have filled positions in Israel and abroad in Société Générale, WestLB, Dexia, Midroog (Moody's) and currently at Mizrahi Tefahot Bank, as the Project Finance Department Manager. Under my management at Mizrahi Tefahot, the Bank has arranged lines of credit for project finance transactions in the vicinity of NIS 14 billion and participated in these transactions in substantial amounts. Such transactions include around 2,000 megawatts in power projects, underlined by a variety of technologies including: conventional, co-generation, pumped-storage and renewable; of which stands out the financing of Ramat Hovav (Orot Yosef) – as Israel's largest energy project. In the recent months, the Bank has arranged the Ashdod Desalination Refinance transaction and closed the huge transportation project of the Fast Lanes to Tel-Aviv. These days, the bank has engaged in reaching financial close for yet another enormous project – the Light Train of Tel-Aviv Green Line. My goal is to retain the bank's position as a leading player in the project finance field in Israel and enlarge market share.

Guy Bessis joined Marsh in 2008 and is a senior member of the Marsh Energy and Power Practice global executive management. He has specific responsibility for Sales and Business Development for the Practice on a global basis. Guy commenced his insurance career as an Underwriter with Royal Insurance in Paris. In 1982, he joined Sedgwick in London, specializing in Onshore Energy. In 1989, he moved to Willis where he held a number of leadership positions over a seventeen years period, including Managing Director of Global Markets, Deputy Chairman of Global Risk Solutions and Chairman of Willis Energy. Guy has over 40 years insurance experience and has been a contributor to many conferences including the Federation of European Risk Managers Association (FERMA), OPERA (Oil and Petrochemical and Energy Risk Association) and FIDES (Latin American Insurance Association) and leads the organization of the bi-annual Marsh Energy Industry Conference. Through his involvement with major Energy placements, Guy has become one of our OIL specialists, helping to optimize specific entries into the mutual as well as designing commercial markets solutions around OIL. After more than 30 years in the London market, Guy is now based in Dubai assisting with the growth of our Energy and Power portfolios in the MEA region as well as overseeing the Energy & Power Practice development around the world.

Nati Birenboim is the owner and founder of the Tamuz Group, which deals with consulting and accompanying commercial and strategic processes in combination with the governmental and economic policy in Israel for both local and international companies in the fields of energy, water and infrastructure. In addition, he serves as the CEO of the Private Natural Gas Electricity Producer Forum. Between 2009 and 2013 he worked in the government as a senior professional advisor to the Minister of Energy and Water Dr. Uzi Landau. Nati trained as a lawyer at the firm "Goldfarb, Seligman & Co." He is a graduate of Bar Ilan University's Faculty of Law, an MBA with honors from the Peres Academic Center in Rehovot and a Master's degree with honors in Political Science - Majoring in Military and Security Studies (MA), Bar Ilan University.

Dr. Brender is the head of Macroeconomic and Policy Analysis Division at the Bank of Israel (BOI). He holds a B.A. degree in Economics and an M.A. in Economics and Business from the Hebrew University, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University. Before joining the BOI, Brender worked for 5 years at the IMF. As head of the Macroeconomic and Policy Analysis Brender coordinated the work on the 2019 "Productivity Report" and more recently the document: "Four recommended pillars of strategic government action to accelerate economic growth and a fiscal framework for financing them" that was submitted by the BOI to the government. His research, some of which was published in leading economic journals, focuses on political economy, budget analysis and its Macroeconomic implications, tax and transfers policy and pension reforms.

Gidon Bromberg is the co-founder and 26-year Israeli Director of EcoPeace Middle East. Mr. Bromberg has written extensively on the relationship between water issues and Middle East peace and has presented before the UN Security Council, UN Climate Summit, US Congress, European Parliament and other international forums. Mr. Bromberg, an attorney by profession, is an alumni of Monash University in Australia, Washington College of Law at American University and Yale University's World Fellows program.

Baerte works at Stedin, a Dutch DSO on e-mobility. Responsible for analyzing the long-term effect of electric mobility on the electricity grids, Baerte helps building a sustainable business case around this transition. This includes V2G, EV-storage and cyber security. He graduated from Leiden University in 2001 with a law degree and received a MBA from Nyenrode Business University in 2006. On behalf of Stedin, he is one of the executive board members of ElaadNL, the knowledge and innovation centre in the field of (smart) charging infrastructure. As an expert for the European Commission he sometimes reviews collective European programs concerning EV interoperability and smart charging. In his spare time he is an elected member of the Provincial Council of Utrecht.

Drs. Ing. Patrick Cnubben (1965) studied Chemical Engineering at the Hogere Technische School Heerlen (1989) and Chemistry at the University of Amsterdam (1993) and has been employed successively by Pré Consultants, Philips, Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Technology Center North Netherlands before his involvement within the Energy Valley Foundation. Within the Energy Valley Foundation, which is now merged into the New Energy Coalition, he has been active for over 18 years now and responsible for the realization of large-scale investments in the field of Bio Energy & Gas enhancing amongst else the production and use of (biogenic) energy carriers such as Green Gas, (Bio)LNG and Hydrogen. Patrick is the architect of Heavenn, the Northern-Netherlands Hydrogen Valley project and involved in many green Hydrogen related development projects. Recently Patrick has been appointed the coordinator of the green molecules program (green hydrogen and green gas) with New Energy Coalition where further development of these novel value chains is key - from idea generation, knowledge development to realization and operation.

Minister Karine Elharrar (43) was born in Holon, Israel in 1977. At the age of 23 (2000) she was certified as a lawyer after graduating with an LLB from the College of Management Law School. She worked as an attorney in the private market in Israel for a few years, before pursuing an LLM from American University’s Washington College of Law in the US in 2006. During her stay in the United States, she worked with two leading American organizations that deal with the rights of people with disabilities (The AAPD and the MDRI). After returning to Israel, Elharrar started working at the legal clinic for people with disabilities at the Bar-Ilan University. Between 2008- 2013 she was in charge of all the legal clinics in Bar-Ilan, and opened two new clinics, including the clinic for elderly and holocaust survivors. In 2012 she joined Yair Lapid who founded the new "Yesh Atid" party and was placed tenth on the party's list for the 2013 Knesset elections. With the new party winning 19 seats in the Knesset, Elharrar was elected into Knesset. As a member of the Knesset, Minister Karine Elharrar dedicated a lot of her time and efforts to protecting the rights and increasing the integration of people with disabilities in the Israeli society. She is the founder and chairwoman of the lobby for the inclusion of children with disabilities in the Israeli public school system. She also actively promoted legislation protecting children's rights, including foster kids and families, victims of physical and sexual violence, and more by passing laws making the mortgage process for people with disabilities easier and understanding, protecting women that were abused from getting fired, establishing the rights of foster families, reforming the supervision on daycares, and more. In June 2015 she was appointed as chairwoman of State Control Committee. In discussions of the committee took the state comptroller reports discussed various issues, including the layout of the Israeli gas system, the Ethiopian community, public housing, integrating people with disabilities in employment, public sector tenders sewn, the defense budget and much more. In 2021 she was appointed as chairwoman of chairwoman of the State Control Committee where she approved forming a state investigation committee to the tragedy at Mount Meron. A month later she was nominated as the first female minister of energy.

Since joining Chevron in August 1985, after graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Jeff has held a number of positions in a variety of locations including the United States, Venezuela, Indonesia, Kuwait and Nigeria. Prior to joining the Eastern Mediterranean Business Unit, Jeff was the Managing Director of Chevron’s Nigeria Business Unit located in Lagos Nigeria. Prior to his position in Nigeria, Jeff worked as VP Operations for Saudi Arabian Chevron located in Kuwait overseeing the Neutral Zone onshore operations. Jeff has held various positions in Drilling, Production Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Operations, Planning and Organizational Capability.Jeff Ewing serves as Managing Director for Chevron’s Eastern Mediterranean Business Unit. In his role, Jeff is responsible for managing all aspects of the operations in Israel, the marketing of exported gas and working with government stakeholders and partners.

Mr. Alaa fakhuri is the Head of Renewable Energy Department in the Electricity Authority. Prior to his appointment he served Division Manager of Generation and Transmission licensing Department in the Electricity Authority. Before he entered the civil service, Alaa held a number of positions in the private sector in the fields of Electricity distribution in East Jerusalem Electricity Company and Renewable Energy Company . Alaa holds a(B.Sc.)& (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering and a (M.A) in Public Policy and Government.

מר עלאא פחורי הוא ראש אגף אנרגיה מתחדשת ברשות החשמל. לפני מינויו שימש כמנהל תחום רישוי ייצור והולכה באגף הרישוי ברשות החשמל. לפני כניסתו לשירות הציבורי, עבד עלאא במספר תפקידים במגזר הפרטי בתחומי חלוקת החשמל בחברת חשמל מזרח ירושלים ובחברת אנרגיה מתחדשת. עלאא הוא בעל תואר(BS.c )& (M.Sc) בהנדסת חשמל ותואר (M.A) במדיניות ציבורית וממשל.

professor Itay Fischhendler is a full professor at the geography department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research interests focus on environmental conflict resolution, natural resources governance, and decision-making under conditions of political and environmental uncertainties. Itay is now engaged in research related to the politics of energy infrastructure and energy diplomacy, including energy sanctions. Many of Itay’s studies take a critical approach, often by the use of discourse analysis and content analysis, of planning and building protocols of national infrastructure, such as energy and water.

Ram Fishman is a senior lecturer of Public Policy at Tel Aviv University and the director of the Nitsan lab for sustainable development (nitsan.sites.tau.ac.il),which aims to bridge the gap between Israeli innovation and low income users in developing countries through intensive field work. Ram is a development and environment economist, whose research is focused on sustainable agriculture, water scarcity and climate change, with an emphasis on developing countries. His work employs a mix of field work, field experiments and the analysis of socio-economic and environmental data. His papers havebeen published in leading peer reviewed journals in Economics and Sustainability Science. Prior to coming to TAU, Ram was an assistant professor of Economics at George Washington University, and prior to that, a Giorgio Ruffolo post-doctoral fellow in Sustainability Science at the Harvard Kennedy School. Ram holds a PhD in Sustainable Development from Columbia University, a M.Sc. in Physics from the Weitzman Institute and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Tel Aviv University.

Eng. Avner Flor is the Deputy Director at the Ministry of Transport Authority of Israel, Avner is responsible for all the vehicle regulatory aspects including homologation, registration and implementation of vehicles in Israel. Among other responsibilities he oversees the Autonomous Vehicle regulatory aspects. Prior to this, he served as a senior director of motor vehicles division at the Ministry of Transport. Avner graduated from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev with a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and also holds a Master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Amir Foster worked as a Senior Energy Analyst in Israel's financial market. As of 2012, Foster Consultancy Group focuses on the energy sector, particularly natural gas. Gas companies, government ministries, and various organizations from Israel and abroad were among the company's clients. Foster was appointed Head of Strategy and Research at the Israeli Natural Gas Trade Association in 2016, and has served as Executive Director since 2019. He has been the chairman of the Strategy Committee of the International Gas Union (IGU) since August 2022. Amir holds a Master's degree in Finance from Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Nurit Gal is the director of electricity and regulation division at the Electricity utility authority in Israel. In this capacity she is responsible for IPPs and renewable energy regulation and tariffs. Prior to that, Dr. Gal was the director of system analysis department at the IDF general staff, holding the rank of a colonel.
Dr. Gal holds 3 master degrees in operations research, in public administration and in energy policy. Her PHd title is: "Fuel Cost Uncertainty and capacity Investment in Competitive Electricity Markets".

Prior to Clal Sun, Ofir was the CFO of Rafael Development Company (RDC) and several of RDC’s subsidiaries, dealing with sprouting activities of a dozen newly formed start-up companies (based on dual-use technologies) in fields of medical device, energy, and automotive, escorting them from establishment through development, fund raising and several successful exits. Itai Gutglick, CPA, Head of the Macro Department at the Electricity Authority, as part of his position, is responsible for determining electricity tariffs, implementing the decision to reform the electricity sector, advising the Minister of Energy on the issue of reducing the use of coal and compiling the annual report on the state of the electricity sector. In the past he held senior positions in the finance department at the Bank of Jerusalem. Graduated with B.A's degree in accounting and economics and a master's degree in accounting.

AMr. Natanel Haiman presently holds the position of Head Economics Division at the Manufacturers' Association of Israel (MAI). The MAI is an organization that unites private industry in Israel, and which represents all industry's interests at both micro and macro levels. In his capacity he deals with various aspects of regulation and policy concerning the business environment of the Israeli manufacturing industry. Mr. Haiman also heads the Manufacturers' Association Energy Committee, which aim is to maintain the manufacturers, as energy consumers, interests in all relevant energy issues: natural gas, electricity and fuels, energy efficiency, taxes and more. Prior to this position he worked as head of Business Economics Department and International Regulation Department at the Manufacturers Association of Israel. Mr. Haiman held several positions as an economist and a financial analyst before joining the MAI team.

Eran Haimovich, CEO of Petroleum & Energy Infrastructure Ltd. Since 2018. Energy Infrastructure is the national infrastructure company of the Israeli fuel and energy economy and its activities focus on four main areas, including: unloading and loading, storage, transmission and issuance of crude oil and its products. During his tenure as CEO of Petroleum & Energy Infrastructure, he led the issuance of the company’s Bonds and its entry into the field of green energy infrastructure, including the construction of solar fields.
Served from 2012-2017 as CEO of Phenicia Flat Glass Industries, during which he led the move to connect the plant to natural gas transmission network, And making it the first plant in the Galilee to be connected to natural gas and the first plant in the country to work with compressed natural gas (CNG).
Mr Haimovich holds a BS.c in Mechanical Engineering from Ben Gurion University and a MBA from Ben Gurion University.

Erez Halfon is Chairman of the Board of EAPC, which operates in the energy and infrastructures industries.
EAPC recently signed an agreement with EMG for the export of natural gas to Egypt through infrastructures thereof.
At the same time, Mr. Halfon acts as Chairman of the Football Leagues Administration.
Until recently, Mr. Halfon acted as Chairman of the Board of Dorad Energy, a private power plant producing some 7% of Israel’s power generation capacity. As Chairman of Dorad, Mr. Halfon led, among other things, the gas purchase agreements vis-à-vis the Greek company Energean, from the Karish-Tanin reservoirs.
Mr. Halfon served as head of the Ministry of Treasury headquarters in the years 2015-2016, and as Director General of the Immigration Absorption Ministry in the years 2006-2009.
Mr. Halfon holds an MA in Public Policy and Administration from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, and a BA in Social Sciences and Communications from Bar Ilan University.

Doral is a renewable energy company that is currently promoting projects amounting to over 16 gigawatts of green electricity worldwide. As part of his role, Yoni is responsible for managing the business development activity of the company and its 15 employees. This activity includes the initiation and promotion of mega projects in almost all fields of renewable energy, joint entrepreneurship with leading companies in the business sector, as well as kibbutzim and moshavim, integration of energy storage and charging systems in the urban area, management of Doral's electricity supplier and the company's green electricity supply system which will generate alone turnover of half a billion NIS a year.

Ms. Sharon Hatzor has joined the Ministry of Energy at 2017 and started her role as Deputy Director General for Planning, Policy and Stratagy at 2020. As Part of her duties Ms. Hatzor is in charge for the Ministry's budgets, foreign affairs, policy and long-term strategic projects. Prior to her nomination as Deputy director in the Ministry Ms. Hatzor was the head of policy and strategic projects division. Before joining the Ministry of Energy, Ms. Hatzor was the director of economic team at the Israeli Antitrust Authority. She was in charge for the endustry market, performing economy market examination of mergers and restrictive arrangements. Ms. Sharon Hatzor holds a B.A in economics and a Master in Bussines Administration.

He has performed valuations, written economic opinions on complex issues and has advised on mergers and acquisitions.
Chen has a deep understanding of a wide range of industries including energy, natural resources, defense industries, chemicals, transportation, communications, infrastructure and airports. Amos J. Hochstein (born January 4, 1973) is a U.S. businessman, diplomat, and lobbyist. He has worked in the U.S. Congress, has testified before congressional panels and has served in the Barack Obama administration under Secretaries of State Clinton and Kerry. He was appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in 2011 and as Special Envoy and Coordinator for International Energy Affairs. In 2015, President Barack Obama nominated Hochstein to be the Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources but the Senate did not act on the nomination. While at the State Department, Hochstein worked as a close advisor to Vice-President Joe Biden. He served in the administration from 2011 to 2017. In March 2017, he joined Tellurian, a private Houston-based LNG company, where he served as Senior Vice President Marketing until his departure in September of 2020. He serves on the boards of the Atlantic Council and U.S.-India Business Council. Hochstein is a former member of the supervisory board of Ukrainian Naftogaz, from which he resigned in October 2020 by writing an opinion piece that highlighted the return of sabotage in the form of corrupt forces. On August 10, 2021, United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that he is appointing Hochstein as the Senior Advisor for Energy Security.

Maryna Hritsyshyna is a Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs in Hydrogenious LOHC. She has more than 10 years’ experience in the energy sector and specializes in hydrogen regulation, renewable energy projects and energy markets. Maryna focuses on the regulatory issues of hydrogen, certification schemes for hydrogen and renewables, electricity and gas markets and legal regulation of the new technologies in the energy sector. She has experience of supporting all legal issues connected with construction of renewable energy projects. Responsible for providing legal support to complex projects in the renewable energy sector, she has extensive experience of drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements, including wind turbine supply and installation agreements, turnkey agreements (including, EPC under FIDIC forms),service agreements, and re-negotiations of existing contracts.

Maya served as CEO of Zalul Environmental Association (“Clear” in Hebrew) from 2012-2022, dedicated to protecting Israel’s seas, rivers and water from all types of pollution. During her term Zalul became one of the leading environmental NGOs in Israel, responsible for some of the biggest achievements against industrial and municipal polluters and plastic pollution, alongside ground groundbreaking collaborations with businesses and municipalities to help create solutions and alternatives. Maya has over 20 years of experience in media and strategy consulting, campaign management, government relations, and philanthropic investments. She previously served as a spokeswoman and part of Prime Minister Ehud Barak's close team, as Chief Information Officer at the Consulate General in New York during the Second Intifada, Director of the Center for Philanthropy at Sheatufim and Director of Government and Media Relations at the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Maya holds an MA in Public Management from Reichman University Herzliya, MA in International Relations and Political Science from Columbia University’s SIPA in New York and a BA in Communication and Jewish history from Tel Aviv University.

Over the past two decades Renelle has worked on the lion's share of groundbreaking deals in the Israeli and East Mediterranean energy markets, including negotiation of the first transboundary gas contract signed with the Egyptian gas importer and the first gaspurchase agreement from the Tamar leaseholders, representation of an important gas supplier and advising on cross-boundary, unitization and legal issues in Israel’s economic waters. In addition, she played a role in shaping the upstream gas and electricity regulatory frameworks. Renelle’s energy experience is comprehensive and also covers independent power producers, energy infrastructure projects, renewable and cutting-edge energy projects. In 2021 he took charge of the section for Offshore Infrastructure (VCA and VMC), Offshore Advisory and Midstream and Downstream services for Southern Europe. Dr. Racheli Kreisberg serves since January 2016 as the Innovation Attaché of the Holland Innovation Network, Ministry of Economic Affairs, at the Netherlands Embassy in Israel. She is responsible for developing R&D and business collaborations between Dutch and Israeli companies, universities, and research institutions. Her work is focused on the High-Tech Systems and Materials (HTSM) top-sector, i.e., photonics, robotics, cyber, agro-tech as well as the Life Science and Agro&Food top sectors. Prior to this position she managed her own consultancy company that specialized in the initiation and management of collaborative EU research projects, and she serves as an evaluator of the EU. Dr. Kreisberg was the Head of the Bioinformatics Unit of Tel Aviv University between 1998-2005. Dr. Kreisberg holds a PhD in Biotechnology and Molecular Microbiology from Tel Aviv University (TAU), an Executive MBA from TAU, an MSc in Chemistry (summa cum laude) from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology.

Effie Milutin is the Deputy General Manager for Commerce & Marketing at the Europe Asia Pipeline Company Ltd. (EAPC). EAPC serves as an essential logistics base serving energy producers and traders around the world. The company, located at one of the world's strategic junctions, serves as a land bridge between the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. This bridge connects Europe and the Far East, and connects energy producers with consumers. For more than two decades, Mr. Milutin is responsible for the commercial activity and business development of the company in the field of energy infrastructure, which is at the core of EAPC's activities, with its customers in Israel and with parties in the international energy sector. Amit Mor, an energy economist, energy strategist, and financial analyst, is the CEO and co-owner of Eco Energy Financial & Strategic Consulting td., an Israeli based firm that specializes in the energy, environmental, and infrastructure sectors. He earned his Ph.D. in Energy, Environmental and Mineral Economics at the Pennsylvania State University (1997). The topic of his dissertation was “Natural Gas Projects in the Developing World: an Empirical Evaluation of Merits, Obstacles and Risks”. He did his graduate studies in economics and business administration, as well as his B.A. degree in Economics, Finance and Psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
During the past 29 years, Dr. Mor has specialized in energy finance and economics. He served as a consultant to governments, financial organizations, public and private companies in the fields of petroleum, natural gas, electricity and renewable energy. During the 1990’s he worked for eight years as a Consultant and Project Manager at the World Bank in Washington D.C., and specialized in the finance of natural gas, power and energy projects, as well as in reform planning of energy and environmental policies of developing countries. He was engaged in assignments in Middle Eastern, European, Asian, South-American, and African countries. During the 1980s he served as an Assistant to the Israeli Minister of Energy and Infrastructure and as a Chief Economist in the Economic Planning Authority in the Ministry of Economic Planning.
During the past 20 years Dr. Mor and Eco Energy worked intensively on issues concerning the development of the Eastern Mediterranean and Israeli gas sector. Dr. Mor and his partner Shimon Seroussi also lead the team that prepared the Energy Master Plan for the State of Israel and participated in the World Bank team that prepared the Energy Sector Review for the Palestinian Authority.

Ms. Galit Palzur is an economist, specializing in policy-oriented environmental economics and the risk management of natural disasters, extreme events, sustainability, and climate change. She is GARP SCR® certified and currently writing her PhD dissertation on corporate risk management at the Poznań University of Economics and Business. Palzur advises and accompanies private and public bodies, internationally, and mentors start-ups through several accelerators, including 8200 Impact. She sits on the Boards of the Israeli Energy Forum and of Forum Dvorah. Previously, Ms. Palzur served in several senior economic positions in the Israeli public sector: She was the Director of the Economics and Standards Division and Price Control Regulator at the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and the Manager of the National Budget for the fields of Agriculture, Environment and Tourism at the Budgets Division at the Ministry of Finance. She has over a decade of experience as a member of several Board of Directors of government-held companies, funds and statutory entities including being a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Finance Committee at the Israel Nature and Parks Authority. Palzur was also Chairman of the Bureau of the OECD Working Party on Climate, Investment and Development (WPCID) and a member of the expert team that advised the Israeli National Security Council on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Aviad Nevo is a Customer Relation Manager at Mizrahi Tefahot Bank, Energy and Infrastructure Department. During his 10-years professional experience in large-scale energy and infrastructure projects Aviad worked as a consultant for public entities and large corporates, and was in charge of underwriting and leading Project Finance transactions as a financier. In 2022 Aviad led both the financing transaction for purchasing Ashdod desalination facility and the the Fast-Lanes project in Tel Aviv metropolitan. Aviad has extensive experience in a variety of fields: Renewable energy, conventional power plants, natural gas infrastructure, desalination, LRT's and other transportation projects. Aviad holds a B.A in Economics and Political Science, and M.A in Public Policy, both from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Prof. Yael Parag is the Vice Dean of Reichman University School of Sustainability. She holds a BSc degree in biology, and MA and PhD degrees in social sciences. Her research focuses on future electricity markets, prosumer markets, peer-to-peer trading, community energy and microgrids, demand flexibility, consumer behavior and consumer engagement, smart energy technologies, energy security, public acceptance of energy generation technologies, personal carbon trading, and more. Prof. Parag is the Israeli representative at the EU Positive Energy District COSTaction. She is the recipient of various international and nationally competitive research grants. She is an editorial board member of the journals Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews and Energy Research and Social Science. Her work was published in leading academic energy journals and various international conferences.

Eitan Parnass is the founder & Director General of the Green Energy Association of Israel, the main Renewables, Energy Efficiency and EV advocacy organization in Israel. Established in 2009 by Parnass, GEA-IL is promoting the implementation of green energy in Israel, using the professional industry knowledge & skills. Parnass is also a public pro-sustainability activist involved in numerous initiatives to promote sustainable economy in Israel and worldwide, including the formation of the Global Solar Council, launched at Paris COP21, where he served as Board Member & Secretary (2015-2017). Guy is pioneering organic farmer with over 30 years of experience. In 1987, Guy inherited the 160 hectare Makura Farm in northern Israel and transitioned it to a fully organic operation for olives, sub-tropical fruits and citrus. The farm has now over 15 crop species, two wineries, an olive press and an education center. Since 2021, Makura farm is managed by his children. Guy was one of the seven people globally to create the global organic ethical principles and previously served as VP of the Mediterranean for IFOAM. Guy had consulted worldwide for organic farming transitions.

Yossi Ron held several senior positions in Dead Sea Works from 1990-2000. Between 2000-2010 he served as a senior executive at the Baran Group and between 2010-2019 was the project director of a $400M Cogeneration Power Plant. In 2019 he took on the role of VP Business Development Potash Division for the ICL Group and he is currently the VP Energy and Strategic Projects for the global ICL Group.

Ambassador Marina Rosenberg is currently Special Envoy for Energy at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was until recently Israel’s ambassador to Chile. With over 16 years of diplomatic experience she has served in various missions in the Gulf, Europe & LATAM while promoting a social impact diplomacy. While serving in Israel she founded the Women in Diplomacy Network. Ambassador Rosenberg is married, has two children and actively promotes Gender Equality and animals’ rights.

Lior Schillat began serving as Director General of the Ministry of Energy in October 2021. Mr. Schillat, 44, has spent the past 20 years working in the public, private and non-profit sectors. He began his career as an advisor to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, before heading the Department of Coordination, Inspection and Evaluation in the Prime Minister's Office. Following his work at the PMO, Schillat served in numerous business and public service roles in Israel, the United States, and Italy. Mr. Schillat headed the Jerusalem Institute for Policy Research, a Jerusalem based think tank, between 2016 and 2021. A father of two, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Judaism from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and another M.A in the Joint Program for Energy and Geopolitics from Sciences Po and IFP in Paris.

ליאור שילת נכנס לתפקידו כמנכ"ל משרד האנרגיה באוקטובר 2021, כשהוא מביא איתו לתפקיד מעל 20 שנות ניסיון במגזר הציבורי, המדיני והעסקי. שילת החל את דרכו המקצועית כעוזרו של ראש הממשלה דאז אריאל שרון ז"ל. בתפקידו זה, הופקד שילת על עבודת המטה של לשכת רה"מ ועל נאומי ראש הממשלה. במקביל טיפל בנושאים אסטרטגים נקודתיים שתועדפו ע"י רה"מ לטיפול באופן ישיר על ידי לשכתו ובהם גדר הביטחון, מערך הגיור הממלכתי וירושלים. כמו כן, בין היתר, שילת היה בין מקימי פרויקט מסע לחיזוק הקשר בין יהדות התפוצות וישראל והשתתף בצוות הישראלי שדן עם הממשל האמריקאי על מכתב הנשיא בוש מאפריל 2004. במאי 2006 מונה שילת לתפקיד ראש אגף תיאום, מעקב ובקרה (היום אגף פנים, תכנון ופיתוח) במשרד רה"מ. במסגרת זו ניהל שורה של פרויקטים ממשלתיים גדולים בכללם תכניות לפיתוח כלכלי של המגזר הבדואי בצפון, הדרוזי והצ'רקסי, התכנית לשיקום הצפון אחרי מלחמת לבנון השנייה, תכנית הצמיחה הראשונה לירושלים והתכנית לפיתוח אגן העיר העתיקה. לאחר שסיים את תפקידו במשרד רה״מ מילא שילת שורה של תפקידים עסקיים וציבוריים בישראל, ארצות הברית ואיטליה. בין היתר שימש שילת כמנהל התוכן בצוות ההיגוי של ועידות המחר של הנשיא שמעון פרס, כאיש הקשר למוסדות הפיננסיים הבין לאומיים בשגרירות ישראל בוושינגטון וכחבר דירקטוריון בשני סטרטאפים ישראלים בתחומי התייעלות אנרגטית ואבטחת מידע. בתפקידו האחרון, לפני כניסתו לתפקיד מנכ"ל משרד האנרגיה, שימש כמנכ"ל מכון ירושלים למחקרי מדיניות, מכון מחקר וחשיבה העוסק בסוגיות של כלכלה, חברה, תכנון וקיימות. לאורך השנים כיהן שילת בדירקטוריונים וועדים מנהלים של מספר ארגונים חברתיים וציבוריים בהם חבר הנאמנים של הסוכנות היהודית, נתיב- המרכז הלאומי לזהות ולגיור, מכללת לוינסקי ורוח חדשה. שילת בעל תואר B.A בגיאוגרפיה ויהדות של האוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים ובעל שני תארי ,M.A הראשון בתכנית המשותפת לאנרגיה ומדיניות ציבורית גלובלית של בתי הספר סיינס פו ו-IFP School בפריז, והשני ביחסים בין לאומיים מבית הספר Fletcher למשפט ודיפלומטיה באוניברסיטת Tufts בארצות הברית.

Shimon Seroussi is a graduate of the Tel Aviv University, where he earned a Master’s degree in economics and a B.A. in statistics. He developed specialization in project finance and investment management including economic consulting to projects and businesses, and preparation of business plans and company valuations.
For more than 20 years Mr. Seroussi served in managerial positions in the Bank of Israel and in the Israel Securities Authority. In these frameworks he worked closely with the banks and with the Ministry of Finance and conducted supervision on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and on prospectus and financial reporting of enterprises that issued securities to the public.
During the past decade he was a member and coordinator of several public committees that dealt with reform, privatization and structural changes in the electricity, petroleum, water and telecommunications sectors in Israel.

On Oct. 15th 2020, Eran Yaacov (LLB, Economist) was appointed as Acting Director General of Israel Ministry of Finance, while yet serving as Director General of the Israel Tax Authority, as of March 2018. Prior to his current positions, Mr. Yaacov served as Director General of Wage and Labor Agreements Department, since February 2017. In 1989, Mr. Yaacov began his career within the Israeli civil service as a Customs official at the Ben-Gurion Airport. In 2001, after serving with several positions of customs enforcement, Mr. Yaacov has took upon himself several leading economic positions within the Customs & VAT Directorate and the Israel Tax Authority Directorate. Among these, Mr. Yaacov served as Chief Budgeting Officer, and as Deputy Director of the Planning and Economics Division within the Israel Customs & VAT Directorate. He has later served as Sr. Deputy Director General (Planning and Economics) and as First Deputy Director General of the Israel Tax Authority. With these positions, he has lead Initiating, planning, and implementing strategic policy, and building performance research. He has further lead planning and legislative reforms in the field of taxation, improving work processes, and negotiations. Mr. Yaacov is experienced with lecturing in management, leadership, economics, customs and international trade. Shaul Zemach is a leading Israeli Energy and Infrastructure expert, who joined Energean Israel when it was established. Mr. Zemach served as Director General of the Israeli Ministry of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources from 2009 to 2013 after acting as Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Tourism. Following the discovery of significant Israeli Natural Gas volumes in 2011, Mr. Zemach was appointed as Chairman of an inter-ministerial committee to examine government policy on the natural gas industry by the Israeli Prime Minister and the Minister of Energy. The Committee’s final report was approved by the Cabinet inJune 2013. Mr. Zemach has served on Boards of Directors for several leading Energy and Financial corporations in Israel and numerous government-owned companies, including Israel Electric Corporation. He served as Acting Chairman of Israel Airport Authority Council (2006). Mr. Zemach holds a BA in Economics and International Relations from the Hebrew University and a Master's in Public Policy from Tel Aviv University.

Binyamin Zomer is serving at Noble Energy as VP for Regional Affairs . In his role, Bini is the lead interface between Noble and the Government of Israel as well as the other governments in the region. In Israel Bini is responsible for the day to day representation and oversees regulatory affairs, media affairs, community outreach and Noble`s external affairs in the Eastern Mediterranean Region .Prior to joining Noble, Bini served as Deputy Director for Policy and Government Affairs at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) where he focused on energy and homeland security issues.
