Mr. Abu has served as CEO of Delek Drilling since 2011, and as CEO of Avner since 2016. He served as Trade and Regulation Manager of Delek and Avner, and as a Senior Professional Adviser to the Minister of Finance.
Mr. Abu was a partner in the development of the Tamar Field and in promoting development of all other discoveries. On behalf of the gas partnerships, he led the negotiations for the sale of natural gas to the domestic market and the regional agreements.
Mr. Abu holds an LLB from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and undertook LLM studies in the joint program of the Hebrew University and Georgetown University Law Center.

מר יוסי אבו, מנכ"ל דלק קידוחים משנת 2011 ומנכ"ל אבנר משנת 2016. בתפקידיו הקודמים כיהן כמנהל סחר ורגולציה בדלק קידוחים ואבנר וכיועץ מקצועי בכיר לשר האוצר רוני בר-און, תפקיד במסגרתו היה מעורב בגיבוש תקציב המדינה ורפורמות מבניות במשק הישראלי.
>יוסי היה שותף להובלת פיתוח מאגר תמר וקידום פיתוח תגליות לוויתן ואפרודיטה, והוביל מטעם שותפויות הגז את המו"מ למכירת גז טבעי למשק המקומי ובראשם ההסכם עם חברת החשמל, ואת המו"מ על הסכמי הייצוא האזוריים לירדן, מצרים וטורקיה.

Ron has served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1990. During his first period at the ministry he was personal assistance to the Director General and dealt mainly with the Oslo process and the economic peace with the Palestinians. In 1997 he started a long and interesting period of 15 years dealing with all aspect of the United Nations. He started in New York, serving as counselor for economic and social affairs at the Permanent Mission of Israel. In 2004, two years after his return from NY, he became the director of the UN Department at the Foreign Ministry and engaged mainly with the efforts to promote the relations between Israel with the United Nations, as well as the image of the UN among the Israeli public. As part of these efforts he initiated the UNGA resolution on Holocaust Remembrance and the International Commemoration Day. He served as a member and the chairman of a UN committee on Program and Coordination and at the same time promoted an ODA law in the Knesset. In 2008 Ron started his post as Deputy Ambassador of Israel to the UN in Geneva where he was in charge on the relations with numerous International Organizations and Specialized agencies, such as the ILO, WHO, UNEP, UNHCR, IOM and ITU. Upon his return to Israel Ron has engaged in the Specialized agencies such as UNESCO. Later on he became the director for the OECD membership of Israel, and now also the Energy file in the MoFA, including the relations with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in Abu Dhabi.

Mr. Aldubi holds an MBA in Finance and a BA in Management and Economics from Tel Aviv University. Mr. Aldubi is the Chairman of the Association of Oil and Gas Exploration Industries in Israel. The Association of Oil and Gas Exploration Industries in Israel, established in 2010, comprises of the leading companies active in the Israeli oil and gas industry.

Dr. David Almagor is a veteran high-tech executive and serial entrepreneur, with over 30 years of experience in managing complex R&D as well as business entities, and taking them from startup inception to business success.
David is currently co-founder and Chairman of Presenso, an Industrial Machine Learning and AI venture.
Previously, David was co-founder, CEO and then Executive Chairman of Panoramic Power, the leading provider of cloud-hosted energy management solutions. Panoramic was acquired in Nov 2015 by Direct Energy for $65M.
Formerly, David was an adviser to various technology companies such as Texas Instruments (NYSE: TXN), Audiocodes (NASDAQ: AUDC), PowerDsine - acquired by Microsemi (NASDAQ: MSCC), Modem Art - acquired by Agere (NYSE: LSI) and board member at Lucid (private).
Prior to that, David was the founding CEO and Chairman of Mysticom Semiconductor, a network IC provider that David had founded in 1997, and that was sold to Transwitch (NASDAQ: TXCC) in 2005.
Earlier, David was DSP Technology Group Director at National Semiconductor. David was also co-founder at Metalink (NASDAQ: MTLK) and worked at AMETEK (NYSE: AME).
Dr. Almagor is an author of more than 40 publications and a co-author of 4 US and 1 UK patents. He holds several university degrees: PhD EE and M.S.EE from the University of California San Diego and B.S.EE from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Mr. Almogy has served as our Chief Investment Officer – Europe & Asia since 2015 and has served as the Chief Executive Officer of OPC since 2011 and 2007, respectively.
Mr. Almogy has 18 years of experience in economics and business development in the energy industry.
Mr. Almogy previously headed the economics department at a leading energy company from 1997 to 2001, and has held various executive positions in the Ofer Group and at IC.
Mr. Almogy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Master’s in Business Administration, both from Tel Aviv University.

Mr. Yaki Almoznino joined Noble Energy in 2014, and since that time he has been heading the information technology sphere for the company. As part of his job he designed a multi-year strategy that supports expansion of expected activity, adapting the company’s global systems to regional work procedures and local regulatory demands, and for the first time, establishing a regional information system function within the global company.
As part of the activities of Noble Energy’s IT team which he heads, innovative solutions are being tested and implemented to combine the world of computers with the unique needs of the gas and petroleum industry.
Among his previous positions Mr. Almoznino served as senior director of the computer division at Teva with overall responsibility for the operations division and global production, and was deeply involved in reforming Teva’s computer division and helping it transition from a collection of local units into a leading global division. Among other things, he was responsible for building the foundations for numerous global programs in spheres relating to production, quality and performance management.
Prior to this he served as head of the Infrastructures Development Department for the Israel Police (with the rank of as commander), where he led the establishment of the police department’s new computer system in the early 2000s. As part of his work he was responsible for designing information security infrastructures, developing biometric systems and border control systems, and more.
Mr. Almoznino has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science, and a master’s degree in industrial management from Ben-Gurion University.

מר יקי אלמוזנינו הצטרף לנובל אנרג'י בשנת 2014 ומאז מוביל בחברה את תחום מערכות המידע. במסגרת התפקיד הוא מתווה בניית אסטרטגיה רב-שנתית התומכת בהרחבת הפעילות הצפויה, התאמת המערכות הגלובליות של החברה לתהליכי העבודה האזוריים ולדרישות הרגולטוריות המקומיות ועוסק גם במיסוד פונקציית מערכת מידע אזורית לראשונה בחברה הגלובלית.
במסגרת פעילות צוות ה-IT של נובל בישראל ברשותו של יקי, נבחנים ומוטמעים פתרונות חדשניים המשלבים את עולם המחשוב עם הצרכים הייחודיים של תעשיית הגז והנפט.
בתפקידיו הקודמים שימש כמנהל בכיר בחטיבת המחשוב של טבע עם אחריות כוללת על חטיבת התפעול והייצור הגלובלית ומעורבות עמוקה בשינוי חטיבת המחשוב של טבע והמעבר מאוסף יחידות מקומיות לחטיבה גלובלית מובילה. בין השאר היה אחראי על בניית היסודות לתוכניות גלובליות רבות בתחומי הייצור, האיכות וניהול הביצועים.
לפני כן שימש כראש המחלקה לפיתוח תשתיות במשטרת ישראל (בדרגת ניצב-משנה) והוביל את הקמת מערך המחשוב החדש של המשטרה בראשית שנות ה-2000. במסגרת התפקיד היה אחראי על הקמת תשתיות אבטחת המידע, פיתוח מערכות ביומטריות, ,פיתוח מערכות ביקורת גבולות ועוד.
בעל תואר ראשון במתמטיקה ומדעי המחשב , ותואר שני בניהול תעשייתי מאוניברסיטת בן-גוריון.

יוסי אנטורג מנהל כיום את פרויקט המתנול לתחבורה עבור דור כימיקלים.
יוסי בעל ניסיון בענף הדלק והרכב, שימש כמנכ"ל הראשון של דור אנרגיה במשך עשר השנים הראשונות של החברה. לפני כעשר שנים כיהן שלוש שנים כמנכ"ל סונול ולפני כן כיהן כארבע שנים כמנכ"ל וכיו"ר יפנאוטו- יבואונית רכבי סובארו לישראל.
יוסי עוסק בנושא החדרת המתנול לתחבורה בדור בארבע השנים האחרונות.

Shmulik Aran assumed the role of NextNine’s CEO in 2007, turning it around into an OT Security Management world leader. Prior to that Shmulik was a Partner at XT Group Investments, a leading private equity firm. Mr. Aran has led several successful investment deals, and performed complete turnarounds in portfolio companies with a 2x to 8x returns, including ECI Telecom (acquired: Swarth Group), Tecnomatix (acquired: UGS Siemens), YaData (acquired: Microsoft) and Kailight (acquired: Optium then Finisar). Before that Shmulik was part of the growth of Comverse Technology from an 80 to 5000 employees, and to a 10$B traded company, in both sales, marketing and R&D management positions. Shmulik brought products from the inception through development to the production line and played a major role in increasing Latin American sales from $2 to $17 million in one year. Shmulik began his career in the technological intelligence division of the Israel Defense Forces. Mr. Aran received his Master’s degree in Electric Engineering with honors from Tel Aviv University, and his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Physics with honors from the Hebrew University, as part of the prestigious Talpiot program.

2011 – Present; General Manager of the Dorad Power Plant, an 860 megawatt private power plant. Managed the construction, commissioning of the power plant, and placement into commercial operation. Oversaw the recruitment and training of the operation and maintenance organization and also the development of the electricity marketing organization. Responsible from commercial operation for management of all the company’s activities including electricity production and supply.
Prior to this, worked at the Israel Electricity Company (IEC) in various senior positions, with the last being as assistant manager of the Production Division with responsibility for all mechanical equipment.

משנת 2011 , מנכ״ל תחנת הכח דוראד , תחנת הכח הפרטית בהספק של 860 מגה ואט. ניהל את הקמת תחנת הכח, ההכנסה לעבודה, וההפעלה המסחרית, ניהל את בניית צוותי תפעול ותחזוקה וכן את בניית חברת האספקה. מההפעלה המסחרית מנהל את כל פעילות החברה, כולל את חברת הייצור וחברת האספקה .
לפני תפקיד זה, עבד בחברת החשמל כ 19 שנים בתפקידים בכירים שונים ובתפקיד האחרון היה סגן מנהל אגף הייצור למכונות.

אילן בן דוד - יזם מנוסה , כיום מנכ"ל של חברת Chakratec המפתחת מערכת אגירה ירוקה מהפכנית ללא הגבלת מחזורי טעינה ופריקה. קודם לכן הקים את חברת Genoa Color Technologies והוביל אותה להצלחה במשך 12 שנים . לפני כן נשא בתפקידים בכירים בתחום הדפוס הדיגיטאלי.

Mr. Constantine Blyuz, Deputy Director of the Natural Gas Authority in the National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources since 2010.
As a part of his current position, Mr. Blyuz is responsible for Economic and Strategic issues such as: preparation of several chapters in the Long Term Policy Committee Report, coordination of the LNG import project, issuing short and long-term demand for natural gas, setting of transmission tariffs and rules, regulation of the developing distribution network. Mr. Blyuz has an impact in a few of the most important negotiations in the Israeli energy sector, such as Tamar & Leviathan Leases and Natural Gas Framework.
Mr. Blyuz entered the Israeli Public Sector in 2000, and since 2014 is an energy courses lecturer in several Israeli institutions, such as, Netanya Academic College and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Mr. blyuz holds a master's degree (MBA) in Business Management and a Bachelor’s degree (B.A) in Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

מר קונסטנטין בלוז, סגן מנהל רשות הגז הטבעי במשרד התשתיות הלאומיות האנרגיה והמים משנת 2010. במסגרת תפקידו, היה שותף לניסוח ''מתווה הגז'' (2015), אחראי להכנת פרקים נבחרים בדו''ח הוועדה לבחינת מדיניות במשק הגז (דו''ח צמח 2012), ולהובלת פרויקט הקמת המתקן לקליטת גז טבעי נוזלי. בנוסף, בלוז אחראי על הכנת מכרזי החלוקה וקביעת הסדרים שונים במשק האנרגיה, ושותף בדיונים על חזקת לוויתן.

Amir Cohen, EGM's Founder & CEO with 30 years of vast experience in general management, R&D, marketing and sales.
EGM is Amir's fifth company that he founded. Among others, Amir served as a Board Director for Tnuva ($1.7 billion company) for 5 years and head of a branch (Ltc.) in MAFAAT.

Dr. Efraim Chalamish is a Professor of law and business and advisor in New York, specializing in trade, investment, and energy markets. He has practiced in Israel, the United States and Europe. He regularly writes for leading media outlets, such as Huffington Post and Global Finance. Dr. Efraim Chalamish lectures in Israel as well and collaborates closely with the government and companies in Israel.

Gina Cohen has been working as a consultant the Eastern Med natural gas economy from the outset of the natural gas exploration activities offshore Israel nearly 20 years ago. She lectures at the Technion University’s M.Sc. Program for Petroleum Engineers and is the author of the Hebrew-English lexicon www.hebrewenergy.com.

כיהן במספר תפקידים ברשות להגבלים עסקיים משנת 2012 כאשר בתפקידו האחרון שימש אילת ככלכלן הראשי וממלא מקום הממונה על ההגבלים העסקיים. במסגרת תפקיד זה ניהל מקצועית צוות של 35 כלכלנים בתחומי תחרות, רגולציה וממשלה, לצד ייצוג רשות ההגבלים העסקיים בועדות ממשלתיות מרכזיות בנושאי ייבוא, נתוני אשראי ובנקאות.
בעבר שימש סמנכ"ל חברת Compass Lexecon בסן פרנסיסקו, ומילא תפקידי הוראה באוניברסיטת סטנפורד, באוניברסיטה הפתוחה ובאוניברסיטה העברית.

Michalis Firillas was born in Cyprus but spent most of his life abroad, much of it in the Middle East. His academic training, is primarily in history and international affairs, which he acquired in the United States and Israel. Before joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus, he worked in academia, the media and in the commercial sector. He has been serving as the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Cyprus in Israel since 2013, and has been following closely, among other subjects, energy related issues

Amir Foster has been an Energy Analyst in the Israeli financial sector. In 2012 he founded a private consultant firm that specializes in the oil & gas industry, working with both private investors and public companies in risk assessments, market analysis, valuation and investment management. In 2016 he became the Head of Strategy & Research at the Israeli Association of Oil & Gas Exploration Industries
Foster holds an MsC in Finance from Tel Aviv University.

אמיר פוסטר עבד כאנליסט אנרגיה בכיר בשוק ההון. בשנת 2012 ייסד את חברת פוסטר קבוצת ייעוץ המתמחה בייעוץ בתחומי האנרגיה ובפרט בתחום הגז הטבעי. בין לקוחות החברה ניתן למצוא חברות גז, ארגונים ומוסדות שונים בארץ ובעולם. החל משנת 2016 פוסטר הינו ראש אגף אסטרטגיה ומחקר של איגוד תעשיות חיפושי הנפט והגז בישראל.

Mr. Friedman has accrued many years of experience in international M&As, business development, finance and strategy, and in managing teams and organizations.
He had served as VP Strategy at Avner Oil Exploration.
Mr. Friedman specialized in projects in the various fields of energy: electricity, renewable energies and natural gas, and worked as an attorney with law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.
Mr. Friedman holds an LLB from Tel Aviv University.

Ella Freed is a Senior Equity Analyst at Bank Leumi Le-Israel Capital Markets. Ms. Fried specializes in energy sector within equity research and in addition of her coverage of the domestic energy sector, she has an extensive knowledge of the European Oil &Gas markets. Ella Fried has been in working in equity research for the last 10 years and previous to that spent several years as a financial journalist.

Dr. Gideon Friedmann, Technologies & Renewable Energy Section Manager of the Chief Scientist, Ministry of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources. As a part of his current position, Dr. Friedmann is responsible for Renewable energy policy and pricing, the electricity market, Smart distributed Grid and Grid security, and Energy Efficiency.
Dr. Friedmann has over 15 years of industry experience in both management and R&D, and worked in the semiconductor metrology, medical instrumentation and biotechnology industries.
Dr. Friedmenn ran a small pharmaceutical startup, and publishes opinion articles in Israel's largest newspaper ''Yediot Aharonot'', and ''Calcalist''.
Dr. Friedmenn holds a PHD in Physics from Stanford University, a B.A in Mathematics and Physics from Tel Aviv University, and a diploma in Bioinformatics from the Open University.

Nurit Gal is the director of electricity and regulation division at the Electricity utility authority in Israel. In this capacity she is responsible for IPPs and renewable energy regulation and tariffs. Prior to that, Mrs Gal was the director of system analysis department at the IDF general staff, holding the rank of a colonel.
Mrs Gal holds 3 master degrees in operations research, in public administration and in energy policy, and she is a Phd candidate at Tel Aviv University. Her PHd title is: "The effect of natural gas price volatility on Electricity capacity investment".

נורית גל היא סמנכלית חטיבת חשמל ורגולציה ברשות החשמל. במסגרת תפקידה גב גל אחראית לרגולציה ולתעריפים שלשוק החשמל הפרטי ושל יצרני חשמל באנרגיה מתחדשת. בתפקידה הקודם גב גל עמדה בראש המחלקה לניתוח מערכות של צהל וריכזה את ניתוח התוכנית הרב שנתית של הצבא.
לגברת גל 3 תארי מאסטר: בחקר ביצועים, במדיניות ציבורית ובמדיניות אנרגיה והיא משלימה בימים אלו עבודת דוקטורט באוניברסיטת תל אביב, בנושא: השפעת אח וודאות מחירי הגז הטבעי על ההשקעה במשק החשמל.

Work in Progress
_ "Gains from Migration, Gains from Trade and Firm Heterogeneity."
I study the possible gains to an economy from eliminating all barriers to international migration. I develop a structural general equilibrium trade model of many countries, sectors and factors of production, that incorporates features from both neoclassical and new trade theories. I use this model to conduct a counterfactual simulation of migration liberalization. The paper departs from previous work by considering and emphasizing the role of .rm heterogeneity.

Alon is also a partner in the Corporate Group and has extensive experience in commercial transactions and companies law. The Group headed by Alon is involved in a wide range of activities in the field of energy. Alon advises the distribution companies holding licenses in the center and in Hadera and the valleys, and has been involved in the establishment of the distribution network from the outset.
Alon served as the legal adviser to the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, advising Prime Ministers Ehud Barak and Ariel Sharon.
During 2002-2003, Alon assembled the legal team focused on the criminal claim pending against Prime Minister Sharon in Belgium.

אלון כיהן כיועץ המשפטי של משרד ראש הממשלה, וייעץ לראשי הממשלה אהוד ברק, ואריאל שרון. במהלך 2003-2002 ריכז אלון, מטעם משרד ראש הממשלה, צוות משפטי שטיפל בהליך הפלילי נגד ראש הממשלה אריאל שרון בבלגיה.

Nimrod Goren is the Founder and Head of Mitvim - The Israeli Institute for Regional Foreign Policies and a Teaching Fellow in Middle Eastern Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He holds a PhD in Middle Eastern Studies and Political Psychology from the Hebrew University, and his dissertation topic was "The role of external incentives in promoting peace: the cases of Israel and Turkey". After completing his doctorate, Dr. Goren was selected to take part in Public Policy training at Syracuse University as the Israeli participant in the U.S. State Department's Fulbright Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program. Dr. Goren was the former Executive Director of the Young Israeli Forum for Cooperation (YIFC), and in this capacity he was awarded the 2009 Victor J. Goldberg IIE Prize for Peace in the Middle East. In addition, Dr. Goren served as a consultant in a Northern Ireland conflict resolution process, and has worked at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute, the Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies, The Nehemia Levtzion Center for Islamic Studies, and at The Harry S. Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace.

Mr. Chen Herzog is the Chief Economist of BDO Consulting Group Israel. Herzog is an Oil and Energy Expert. Has more than 20 years of professional experience in economic consulting and advisory for international corporations, government-owned entities and large companies in Israel. He has performed valuations, written economic opinions on complex issues and has advised on mergers and acquisitions.
Chen has a deep understanding of a wide range of industries including energy, natural resources, defense industries, chemicals, transportation, communications, infrastructure and airports. Chen provides expertise in economic and financial analysis of sector trends, forecast modeling, government policy and macro-economic factors.
Mr. Herzog holds an M.A. in Economics from the Tel Aviv University. Previously, Mr. Herzog served as Vice President of Economic Models Ltd.

Renelle Joffe specializes in Energy Law and heads the firm’s Energy Group. Her expertise includes upstream regulation and transactions, purchase of fuels, transboundary energy transactions, energy infrastructure projects, including natural gas transmission and distribution, renewable and energy-related government tenders.
Renelle has an in depth understanding of the energy industry in Israel and extensive experience in negotiating international energy deals including the purchase of natural gas from Egypt; expertise which was acquired largely during the period she served as Legal Advisor for Natural Gas and Fuels in the Israel Electric Corporation, the integrated electricity utility (1997-2007).
Renelle is an expert on the regulatory framework in the energy sector in Israel and specifically on regulation applicable to natural gas and oil exploration, independent power producer projects and renewable energy.
Renelle is co-Chairperson of the Energy and Infrastructure Committee of the Israeli Bar Association.

Dr. Hayriye Kahveci, has a Ph.D. degree from Department of International Relations, Middle East Technical University. Her dissertation was on Political Economy of Oil in Kazakhstan. She has worked as a researcher at the METU Centre for Black Sea and Central Asia (KORA) focusing mainly on Caspian region energy politics. She was a post doctoral rsearcher at Sussex Centre for Conflict and Security Research, University of Sessex in 2014. Since 2009 she teaches at Middle East Technical University Northern Cyprus Campus in Political Science and International Relations Programme as well as Petroleum Engineering Programme. Her research focus is on post-soviet state building, political economy of international oil and Cyprus. She published on on energy politics in the Caspian region as well as Cyprus politics. 

Dr. Karcz took his first steps in the industry with ExxonMobil as a geologist in the Corporate Strategic Research Division.
Today he is entrusted on behalf of the Partnerships with the discovery, development and recovery of reservoirs.
Dr. Karcz teaches geology of oil and gas as part of the master’s programs at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and at Ben-Gurion University. He also teaches in the Continuing Education Unit at the Technion.
Dr. Karcz holds both a BSc and an MSc in geology from the Hebrew, and a PhD in geology and geophysics from Columbia University in the City of New York.

Gürkan Kumbaroğlu is President of the International Association for Energy Economics IAEE, and also President of the Turkish Association for Energy Economics. He is the Founding Director and Chairman of the Board of the Energy Policy Research Center at Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey. He has been a visiting researcher and professor at various universities worldwide including the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETH Zurich, the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, RWTH Aachen University, the University of Sao Paulo, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the University of Campinas, and the University of Port Harcourt.
Professor Kumbaroğlu is a member of the Academic Advisory Board of the Turkish Association of Distribution System Operators, and of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry. He is also a member of the Faculty Advisory Board of the Florence Online School of Regulation, and of the China University of Petroleum in Beijing.
Professor Kumbaroğlu is an Editorial Board member of the journals Sustainability, Innovative Energy Policies, and Journal of Self-Governance and Management Economics. He has received several international awards, published numerous articles and book chapters on energy and environmental policy.

Holds a degree in civil engineer from the Technion and an MBA from the Recanati School of Business at Tel Aviv University.

Chen has vast experience in management, sales and business development of industrial software. Chen is a true believer in the ability of the industrial sector to transform itself and increase efficiency as never before, by using Big Data.

Mr. Maimon, the CEO of Bazan Group, the largest energy and petrochemicals group in Israel which comprises of Oil Refineries ltd., Carmel Olefins ltd., Gadiv petrochemicals Industries Ltd and Haifa Basics Oils ltd.
Mr. Maimon served as the CEO of ICL Israel, Deputy CEO and COO of ICL fertilizers, Senior CFO of ICL fertilizers and in various other positions in ICL Group. During his tenure in ICL Group, Mr. Maimon managed one of the country's largest systems of human resources, investments and operations and led significant re-organization and efficiency processes.
Mr. Maimon is certified CPA and holds BA in economics, BA in accounting and an MA in Industrial and management engineering, from Ben-Gurion University.

Colonel (Res.), previously served as the CEO of Jerusalem Municipality, prior to which he held the position of Deputy Director of the Municipality responsible for infrastructure and development in Jerusalem. Eitan has all-around experience in the development and management of a variety of infrastructural projects, as the highlight of his activities in this field is the Jerusalem Light Train – a joint mass transportation project involving both the private and public sectors. Eitan is a graduate of the IDF National Security College and holds an MA in Political Science.

Mr. Shaul Meridor, has served as Director General of the Ministry of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources since 2015.
Mr. Meridor has been Chief Executive Officer of Greenergy Renewable Energy Ltd., and served as Deputy Budget Director in charge of the field of infrastructure (energy, water, transportation and agriculture) in the Ministry of Finance.
Mr. Meridor has directed, under Finance Minister Steinitz, the work of the Sheshinsky Committee, promoted reforms in the electricity and natural gas sectors and held numerous positions in the Ministry of Finance Budget division between 2002 and the end of 2013.
Mr. Meridor holds a Bachelor’s degree (B.A) integrative program in Philosophy, Economics and Political Science (PEP) in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

מרידור כיהן בעבר כסגן הממונה על התקציבים האחראי על תחומי התשתיות (אנרגיה, מים, תחבורה וחקלאות) במשרד האוצר. בין היתר ניהל, תחת שר האוצר דאז שטייניץ, את עבודת ועדת ששינסקי, וקידם רפורמות בתחום משק החשמל והגז, וכן, בשורה ארוכה של תפקידים באגף התקציבים במשרד האוצר החל משנת 2002 ועד לסוף שנת 2013. בתפקידו האחרון שימש כמנכ"ל חברת גרינרג'י אנרגיות מתחדשות בע"מ.

Amit Mor, an energy economist, energy strategist, and financial analyst, is the CEO and co-owner of Eco Energy Financial & Strategic Consulting td., an Israeli based firm that specializes in the energy, environmental, and infrastructure sectors. He earned his Ph.D. in Energy, Environmental and Mineral Economics at the Pennsylvania State University (1997). The topic of his dissertation was “Natural Gas Projects in the Developing World: an Empirical Evaluation of Merits, Obstacles and Risks”. He did his graduate studies in economics and business administration, as well as his B.A. degree in Economics, Finance and Psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
During the past 29 years, Dr. Mor has specialized in energy finance and economics. He served as a consultant to governments, financial organizations, public and private companies in the fields of petroleum, natural gas, electricity and renewable energy. During the 1990’s he worked for eight years as a Consultant and Project Manager at the World Bank in Washington D.C., and specialized in the finance of natural gas, power and energy projects, as well as in reform planning of energy and environmental policies of developing countries. He was engaged in assignments in Middle Eastern, European, Asian, South-American, and African countries. During the 1980s he served as an Assistant to the Israeli Minister of Energy and Infrastructure and as a Chief Economist in the Economic Planning Authority in the Ministry of Economic Planning.
During the past 20 years Dr. Mor and Eco Energy worked intensively on issues concerning the development of the Eastern Mediterranean and Israeli gas sector. Dr. Mor and his partner Shimon Seroussi also lead the team that prepared the Energy Master Plan for the State of Israel and participated in the World Bank team that prepared the Energy Sector Review for the Palestinian Authority.

Eitan Parnass is the founder & Director General of the Green Energy Association of Israel (formerly REEEAI Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Association of Israel), the main green energy lobbying group organization in Israel. Established in 2009 by Parnass, GEA-IL promotes the implementation of renewable energy electricity production and energy efficiency in Israel, using the professional industry knowledge & skills. One of the main objectives of GEA-IL is providing decision makers with the necessary information and tools to achieve national goals and set enabling policy to foster green energy sector growth. GEA-IL was involved in the formation of the various renewables & Energy Efficiency regulations, acting for the Israeli green energy industry from the launch of the first Solar PV regulations (2008) and has marked many achievements promoting local Renewables market.
Parnass is also a public pro-sustainability activist involved in numerous initiatives to promote sustainable economy in Israel and worldwide, including the formation of the Global Solar Council, launched at Paris COP21, where he serves as board member and secretary. Among his other notable positions include actively managing the Mayor’s political activity and strategy, and serving as Director of Field Operations as well as the Election Day Manager in the 2013 Mayoral Campaign.
Prior to that, Omri served as the Director of the Security Department at the Bank of Israel.

A civil engineer with vast experience and know-how in the fields of natural gas, water and environmental protection, Yair established and led the former Natural Gas Division in TAHAL Group. Over the years, he has gained unique expertise in performing engineering and financial analysis of natural gas-related projects and is an esteemed advisor to Israel’s Ministry of National Infrastructures, Energy and Water Resources, as well as to the Natural Gas Authority and INGL LTD. He also serves as a member of the committee for standardization of natural gas transmission in Israel. Under his leadership, TMNG has expanded its oil and natural gas activities internationally and has shown steady growth. Yair has a civil engineering degree from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology

Eran has more than 15 years of experience in the software industry.
Eran specializes in Machine Learning in the area of anomaly detection and predictive analytics over big data, and was responsible for the development of leading products of large software enterprises - from idea to deployment.
Eran holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics and an MBA. He is also the author of several patents in the field of anomaly detection.

Shimon Seroussi is a graduate of the Tel Aviv University, where he earned a Master’s degree in economics and a B.A. in statistics. He developed specialization in project finance and investment management including economic consulting to projects and businesses, and preparation of business plans and company valuations.
For more than 20 years Mr. Seroussi served in managerial positions in the Bank of Israel and in the Israel Securities Authority. In these frameworks he worked closely with the banks and with the Ministry of Finance and conducted supervision on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and on prospectus and financial reporting of enterprises that issued securities to the public.
During the past decade he was a member and coordinator of several public committees that dealt with reform, privatization and structural changes in the electricity, petroleum, water and telecommunications sectors in Israel.

Ambassador Daniel B. Shapiro arrived in Israel on July 21, 2011. Before arriving in Tel Aviv, Ambassador Shapiro was Senior Director for the Middle East and North Africa on the National Security Staff at the White House, where he advised President Obama and other senior U.S. officials on all aspects of U.S. policy in the region. Prior to serving in the White House, he was Senior Policy Adviser for the Obama for America presidential campaign. He advised the campaign on Middle East policy and led then-Senator Obama’s visit to Israel in July 2008.
Ambassador Shapiro spent much of his career working in senior positions in the United States Congress, with a focus on Middle East policy. He began his career in government as a Professional Staff Member on the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe and the Middle East, under Chairman Lee Hamilton of Indiana. He later served as a Legislative Assistant and senior foreign policy adviser to Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, and as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for Senator Bill Nelson of Florida. Ambassador Shapiro contributed to numerous Congressional efforts to support negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians, to increase U.S. security assistance to Israel, and to strengthen sanctions and other measures against Syria, Iran, Hizballah, and Hamas.
From 1999 to 2001, Ambassador Shapiro was Director for Legislative Affairs at the National Security Council, serving as Congressional liaison for National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, He previously worked for the U.S. State Department at the U.S. Embassy in the United Arab Emirates.
Ambassador Shapiro was born in Champaign, Illinois. He received a Master’s Degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University with a focus on modern Middle Eastern history. He graduated summa cum laude from Brandeis University, with high honors in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies and an additional concentration in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies. He also studied at Hebrew University. He is married to Julie Fisher of Duluth, Minnesota. They have three daughters, Liat, Merav, and Shira. He speaks Hebrew and some Arabic.

Costis Stambolis, He is the founder and managing editor of Energia.gr, Greece’s foremost energy portal since 2001. He is a founding partner (2003) of the Institute for Energy of SE Europe (IENE) while he currently serves as its Deputy Chairman and Executive Director. Costis Stambolis studied Physics, Architecture and Management in the U.K. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Architecture and Energy Studies (AA Dip. Grad) from the Architectural Association and a professional practice license as Architect-Engineer from the Technical Chamber of Greece. He has carried out a wide range of projects in the energy field focusing on solar building technology, regional planning, natural gas systems and energy market analysis. He has also many years’ experience as a technical journalist contributing articles among others to Financial Times and Financial Times Newsletters, Kathimerini and Imerisia newspapers, and to

Dr. Yuval Steinitz was appointed Minister of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources (May 2015). Minister Steinitz kept his leading role on behalf of the Israeli government in the international campaign against the Iranian nuclear program and is overseeing the Israeli Atomic Energy Committee from the previous government.
Prior to his current position, Minister Steinitz was the Minister of Intelligence 2013 - 2015. In that capacity, Dr. Steinitz was responsible for overseeing the intelligence community, including the Mossad (Israeli CIA), Shin-Bet (Israeli FBI) and Israeli Atomic Energy Committee. Minister Steinitz was also in charge of economic aspects in the Israeli-Palestinians peace talks.
As number of the 2009 – 2013 government, Dr. Steinitz was the Finance minister. He constructed the stimulus package of 2009, and also launched the biennial budget framework (2009-2010, 2011-2012). Dr. Steinitz later designed and implanted major reforms in the energy, technology and housing sectors. In addition, Dr. Steinitz led Israel's historic accession to the OECD in 2010.
Before joining the government, Dr. Steinitz was a pivotal member in the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. MK Steinitz chaired the committee during 2003-2006, where he developed new jurisdictions and also initiated a few prominent parliamentary reports, mostly on intelligence topics. In this capacity, MK Steinitz co-established with Senator Jon Kyl the Joint Dialogue on Defense between US Congress and the Knesset. Dr. Steinitz is as a Knesset Member since July 1999, when replaced Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Prior to joining politics, Dr. Steinitz was a philosophy professor in Haifa University, where he focused on metaphysics and philosophy of science. He was also chosen as distinguished lecturer two years in a row. He holds B.A and M.A (with honors) from the Hebrew University, and Ph.D from Tel Aviv University. In 1993 he won the Alon Scholarship, the most prestigious award for young PhDs in Israel.
Minister Steinitz published four philosophy books, which received great public acclaim in Israel. His book, Invitation to Philosophy (1987), is the most popular philosophy book in Israel history, printed in 40 editions so far.
During the 1980s, Dr. Steinitz was an active member of the left wing “Peace Now” movement. He moved right in 1994, following his criticism on the Oslo Peace Process. Minister Steinitz was an infantry combat soldier in the IDF, first in the Golani Brigade, where he took part in the Operation Litani (1978), and then in the Alexandroni Reserve Brigade, during the 1982 Lebanon War.

With over 20 years of extensive experience initiating and managing Exploration and Production projects worldwide, Gideon is the Chairman of Navitas Petroleum, a private upstream exploration & production company.
Gideon is one of the founders and major drivers behind the success of the Eastern Mediterranean Oil and Gas industry. In his former position as Chairman of Delek Drilling and CEO of Avner Oil, Gideon led the successful development of the Yam Tethys project, Israel’s first producing natural gas reservoir discovered in 2000.
Gideon continued to lead the development of the oil & gas sector in Israel with the extremely successful discovery & development of the 11 TCF Tamar natural gas field. Tamar has been producing natural gas since 2013 and will provide Israel with the majority of its natural gas needs over the next 20 years. In addition, under Gideon’s leadership the companies discovered one of the world’s largest natural gas discoveries - Leviathan, with 22 TCF of natural gas.
Gideon has an L.LB, is a member of the Israel Bar Association and holds the rank of Major in the Israel Defense Force.

Tamir Tal has been with Peregrine Ventures since 2005. Tamir manages the operational side of Peregrine’s activities including daily operations, finances and transactions. Tamir also serves as the COO of Geomage Ltd., a Peregrine portfolio company that provides enterprise software solutions and services to the global oil and natural gas exploration and production industry. He also served as COO at Neovasc Medical Ltd., a cardiovascular medical device company and a Peregrine portfolio company. Tamir started his career as a corporate lawyer with Shiboleth LLP where he focused on hi-tech sector securities transactions, M&A and venture capital investments.

Boaz is the CEO and Co-founder of HARBO Technologies, a company developing revolutionary oil spill response technology. Before HARBO, Boaz was at Pacific Gas & Electric where he managed PG&E’s Demand Response program portfolio. By training an Engineer, Boaz lead microchip developments and was product manager at successful semiconductor startups. He was also a product manager at Amazon.com. Boaz received an Electrical Engineering and Computer Science degree from Tel Aviv University and an MBA with honors from Haas, UC Berkeley.

Alexander Varshavsky has a MSc degree in Exploration Geophysics from the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (Moscow). He joined the Israel Ministry of National Infrastructures, Energy and Water Resources as Deputy Mining Commissioner, held the position of the Petroleum Commissioner and currently he is the Director General of the Natural Gas Authority.

Yossi Wurzburger - Director of Natural Resources Administration at Ministry Of National Infrastructure Energy and Water Resources, and Petroleum Commissioner in the ministry. As part of his job, Wurzburger is responsible for the petroleum and mines units, and is the Chairman of the quarries rehabilitation unit. He graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and holds a Master's degree (B.A) in the Department of Geology, and the Institute of Earth Science.

Binyamin Zomer has served as Noble Energy's Country Manager in Israel since October 2014. In his role as Country Manager, Bini is the lead interface between Noble and the Government of Israel and is responsible for the day to day representation of Noble’s 180 Israeli employees and oversees regulatory affairs, media affairs, community outreach, security and IT departments. Bini joined Noble in January 2010 as Noble’s Director of Corporate Affairs in Israel. In that capacity, Bini was responsible for Noble's government relations, media relations and corporate social responsibility projects. His responsibilities also included a number of commercial endeavors and human resources. In 2014, Bini added the role of Joint Venture Manager to his responsibilities. As JV Manager, Bini was responsible managing the business relationship between the various partnerships that Noble operates off-shore Israel.
Prior to joining Noble, Bini served as Deputy Director for Policy and Government Affairs at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) where he focused on energy and homeland security issues. Before joining AIPAC, Bini was Director of Federal Government Relations at Accenture LLP and before that served as Counsel to Don Nickles, US Senator from Oklahoma, after practicing law in Chicago. Bini has a Law degree from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis and a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas.
